These two cigar lines were already introduced in summer 2022, but due to some production delays, they only reached stores in summer 2023. Both the cigar bands and the boxes are the first expression of the new design of Artista Cigars, which was implemented during 2022/23. The Artista Harvest is the lighter variant with yellow-gold cigar bands and boxes. Here, Ram opted for a Sumatra wrapper from Ecuador, complemented by an H. Seco binder also from Ecuador, which in turn envelops filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic. Ram told us that the “official” flavor profile features spices, honey, elderberry, as well as earthy nutty aromas.

The darker Artista Midnight features a significantly darker Ecuadorian H. leaf as wrapper, while the binder is a Connecticut Shade also from Ecuador, and the filler is a “wild” blend from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and the USA. Here, he stated that the profile is characterized by rich and earthy notes of coffee, spices, and chestnut.
