Artista Cigars Factory Classics

In 1956, Ramón "Pulita" Rodriguez transformed a warehouse in Cibao, Dominican Republic, into a Tabacalera (cigar factory). Around sixty years later, it has evolved into a thriving cigar-producing company. On approximately 500 hectares of their own tobacco plantations, tobacco plants grow to be rolled by their torcedores (cigar rollers) into high-quality Dominican cigars. The family has been producing cigars in Tabacalera El Artista for three generations now.

The Puro Ambar Legacy is an evolution of the original Puro Ambar, which competes for the aficionado's favor with even more aroma and strength. The filler includes a long-aged Criollo '98 and a proprietary 1900 variety. A special Criollo '98 leaf, fermented with a touch of wine, is used as the binder. For the finishing touch, a T13 leaf from Ecuador is used as the wrapper. The special treatment of the binder leads to a particularly fruity and aromatic base character.

All three available series of Exactus cigars in Germany are imported and distributed by Importhaus Kleinlagel from Bruchsal. Initially, the Gran Toro was introduced to the market in 2017, and in 2018, the Short Robusto was added to the lineup.
