CIGARWORLD Habanos and Friends Sampler

Right now, the whole world is racking its brain over Cuban cigars. With the samplers from the Habanos and Friends series, we showcase some outstanding alternatives to the often hard-to-find and rare Havana cigars. Our approach is based on the so-called "Vitola de Galera"—the factory name under which a Cuban cigar is rolled at the manufacturer. The Vitola de Galera defines the general shape of the cigar, its ring gauge, and its length—but not its flavor!

The "Vitola de Salida" is the commercial name, i.e. the name by which aficionados know the cigar. A good example would be the Partagás Serie D No. 4, the Bolívar Royal Coronas, and the Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 2. Although these cigars differ in commercial name and tobacco blend, their dimensions are identical—just as their factory name "Robusto" indicates.

Samplers Featuring Cuban Cigars: CIGARWORLD Habanos and Friends

Of course, cigars with the same format exist not only in Cuba. That’s why the CIGARWORLD Habanos and Friends Samplers always include one Cuban cigar that serves as the benchmark for the rest of the cigars in the set. A key feature of these samplers: All cigars share the same format and have also been selected by us with a deliberate focus on flavor. The non-Cuban cigars are not just random additions—they are real alternatives!

CIGARWORLD Samplers: Tasting Packs Featuring Cuban Cigars

Please note that we only package a limited number of samplers—typically 25 units. That’s because Cuban cigars are often delivered in boxes of 25. Once the first batch is sold out, the composition of later samplers may vary. For this reason, the included Cuban cigars cannot be purchased individually. They are only available as part of the sampler alongside their sister cigars. This not only gives you the opportunity to enjoy rare Cuban cigars but also to discover exciting alternatives that are more readily available—and sometimes even a bit more affordable.
