Thick strong smoke, very good construction and burning. However, the aroma was not to my liking. It was too acrid without the spiciness or earthy aromas.

Good construction, very good draw. Familiar Bolivar taste, thick smoke, but the taste was somehow thinner than some others - like cask strength scotch. Overall a very good cigar.

A nice cigar in the familiar Partagas style, but costs almost the same as the Lusitania...

Very light draw. Ugly, with very rough veins. The taste develops slowly, the first half is quite mild. The second half is stronger. On the whole, not bad, but too uneven - I prefer a smoke that performs well from the start to the end. I have now smoked two of these, and I don't think that I'm buying any more.

A very pleasant and mellow double corona. Burn was very good, the smoke thick, but not too strong. Just strong enough for a double corona.

A very tasty and big cigar. Somewhat uneven burning. Medium-thick smoke and a nice Partagas taste. The latter half didn't burn too well.

Taste was not bad at all, but the draw was a bit on the tight side and it seemed to go out by itself with about 2 cm still to go. A lot of potential, but the jury is still out on this one... A second one was better. No significant construction, draw or burn problems. The taste was the familiar Partagas taste, although quite a bit rougher than for example Series D #4.

Well constructed, the burn was as close to perfect as possible. The taste increased along the way but was pleasant all the time. Quite aromatic, although the smoke was not very thick. Another specimen had a darker, oilier wrapper and was stronger with thicker smoke. Still quite a change along the way, which is not what I'm looking for in a robusto.

A very good smoke. Very good construction and draw, tasty and aromatic from the beginning to the end. One of the best.

The taste was very, very good. Only surprise was the uneven burning - one side of the wrapper didn't seem to wan to burn at all. Not a major problem, but I'd expect better at this price. Overall a very good cigar, but is it twice as good as other robustos at half the price?

A excellent cigar! Strong, but not too strong, and aromatic all the way.
