Humidor Short Dog

Now this is a really well done cigar. Tasty too. 8.5/10 - about 100 minutes of smoking pleasure. Very well built, impeccable burn, nice ash collection and plenty of smoke to enjoy. Taste wise it is not out of this world, but top quality indeed. Nice blend of strong punchy aromas of toast, leather, soil and some hints of vanilla even. Even the label is awesome. Somehow reminded me of some AJ Fernandez like El Gorbernador (which is less than half the price). Speaking of which - price is not justified though. Worth a try though. I d like to smoke it again - true that - but won't pay 20 for it. Should I recommend it? If you're good with money definitely worth a try. Peace and love!

Hmm a bit of a disappointment. Smoked it for about 80 minutes. Or at least I've tried to. Very hard to smoke. The draw is bad. The tobacco is over condensed. I had to stick it from the bottom to be able to draw decently. Too bad because it looks well rolled, the tobacco mixture is good in taste and flavour but... when you can't smoke it right you can't enjoy it so...no. All in all it felt like having to eat uncracked nuts without a cracker... Cannot recommend it but would continue to try other My Father cigars. Peace and love!

Meh. I was expecting more from a well established brand. About 90 minutes of smoking. It is well done. The label and cover makes it look cool and all, but it has more talking of the talk than walking of the walk. For the price it is a 7.5/10. Spicy, toasty, hay, wood. All there, but the mix is nothing special. All in all it feels like a beautiful bird that....cannot fly. I will try other My Father cigars for sure, but this I don't think so. Could I recommend it? A strong little stick. Tasty too. 30 minutes smoking time. Rolled to perfection. Taste is punchy and "serious" - also a strong cigar. Tough aromas, but good. Spicy. Woody. Earthy. Forest. Hay. All there. Amount of smoke is impressive for its size and the burning is perfect. All in all it feels like a father who's taking the father role serious. Tough, but good. I will explore the Davidoff world some more and I fully recommend it too. Pricy? Yes. But quality is there 100%. Peace and love!

A pleasure to smoke. Duration time approx 60 minutes. Perfectly rolled, easy to light and smoke - good consistent burn, very nice ash collection and plenty of creamy smoke. Aromas are there - a good mix with chocolate, coffee and roasted nuts and dried fruits - all present at once in some draws. Quite an experience. Bit pricey for the size but the quality is there. All in all it reminded me of my first ever pair of original Nikes when I was a youngster - after years and years of wearing fakes from the market because it's what my parents could afford. But when I tried the first proper Nikes my senses got stimulated from all sides. Same with this stick. Flavour attack on all fronts - in a good way. Would I smoke it again? I'll try the range for sure. Would I recommend it? At least one try clear yes. Peace and love!

After trying another Aroma del Caribe which I loved, this one landed on my humidor yesterday. 90 minutes of smoking time and although a quite good taste - a mild disappointment in the smoking experience. Looks like it's perfectly built, smells good and the aroma blend is there. Ash building is good too. The amount of smoke though is not right and the draw makes it a hustle to enjoy. All in all it felt like a gorgeous holiday home that's yours for the weekend but sometimes it's raining in paradise too, so it gets hard to fully enjoy. 6/10. Maybe my stick was not right and others are better rolled. For the taste I'd recommend it but not for the smoking experience. Peace and love!

They talk the talk but don't walk the walk yet. Expected a lot and got a lot, but not fulfilling my expectations. Duration approx 100 minutes. Wonderful aroma mix. You can feel the quality of it from the first draws to the very last, BUT. Had to relight couple of times and the amount of smoke (although creamy enough and delicious) wasn't satisfactory. All in all it felt like a long term tease that finally consumes and reality strikes: the fantasy was better although the act was awesome. Considering the price - I give it an 8 out of 10. Would I smoke it again? Probably not to be honest. Would I recommend it? Not sure. Maybe once to try it out. Peace and love!

No bueno. Looks good and decently built, but the taste - at least for me - was weird. Started good and ended good with chocolate coffee leather aromas, but most of the smoke felt very bitter. All in all it felt like going on a date where the packaging looks right, but the delivery and the consistency of the person proves out to be shady, only to try and fool you again at the end that the devil is not that black. Won't try again and no recommendation. Peace and love!

A good smoke for sure. Smoking time: 75-80 minutes Well built, easy burn, great ash accumulation and pleasant creamy smoke. Hints of fruits, pepper, toast and a bit of grass. Too expensive for what it has to offer, yet the quality is where it needs to be. All in all - felt like this overpriced art pieces that are beautiful indeed, but there is no way you can understand the price. Would I smoke it again? Maybe - definitely will try more Perdomo. Would I recommend it? Maybe go for a smaller, cheaper version to see how you like it first. Peace and love!

Oscar, my friend, you are trying to seduce and then abandon me. After the awesome SuperFly it was time to try this one. Bit of disappointment. And oh how I was "appointed" by the leaf concept and artistic impression. So. Smoking time: 110 min more or less. Very well built, nice draw, good combustion, decent ash build and an array of flavours dominated by soil, leather and some hay. The cigar is done "by the book" and this makes it... boring to be honest. Very good don't get me wrong, but for the money... homie please. There's much more pleasant smokes at almost half the price. All in all it felt like the golden Nike 98 I bought when I was younger just to show off. They looked slick but were nowhere near as comfy as a good old air max 90 at half the price. Can you fizzle what I sizzle? Will I buy it again? Maybe if I get really bored (which is rare). Do I recommend it? Nope. Not at this price, Oscar. Peace and love!

Good construction, decent smoke volume, mediocre creaminess and nutty-coffee-earthy-toasty aromas mixed in the most mediocre way possible. Not bad but definitely not good. For the price - no way. Even the reduced price is "meh" for the quality of the smoke. All in all it felt like entering one of those stores that always say BIG DISCOUNT - LAST SALE BEFORE CLOSING - but they are saying that for 3 years and you think you buy a premium product at a c heap price but you buy mediocre stuff at a mediocre price. Will I ever smoke it again? Hell no. Do I recommend it? You are not losing anything if you say pass to this one. Peace and love!

Fruits, nuts, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, honey, milkiness. All in one strong, beautifully made and super fly cigar. Smoking time: approx 110 minutes. From the first draw two the very last - I felt what I expect from a good cigar: aromas. Ash is not building very well and lighting it at first was a bit of pain in the ass because it was not lighting even, BUT the taste of it made me forget my small frustration pretty quickly. It starts shy - with hints of chocolate, sweetness and fruitiness - but as the smoke progressed, the chocolate and sweetness took over clearly. Amount of smoke is just right and it was creamy enough for my taste. A bit strong for beginners - but still worth a try for sure. All in all - it felt like back then when you were in your 20s and you had a very good night out clubbing - when everything went smooth from the access to the club to the chicas smiling at you because it's simply a gorgeous funky Saturday night out. I fully recommend it for at least one try. I will definitely smoke this one again more than once. A bit overpriced but hei... at least it's quite a smoke so fk it. Peace and love!

La Aurora Cameroon Robusto. Since I m a beginner - bought it by accident but was a pleasant surprise. Would I smoke it again? Absolutely. Many times? I wouldn't marry it for sure. What I liked about it was the feeling of consistency from the way it's made to the way it fills my mouth with just the right strength of smoke, aromas and spiciness. A bit of everything - but on the full, potent side of things. Could be cheaper, since it's nothing out of the ordinary and I've smoked cheaper ones with the same level of satisfaction. I'd say a good cigar for the plebs. For the people with flame in the chest. If I'd be a rich, bored with life and trying to hide my anxiety with benzos - I probably would go for something more... suave. Elegant. Easy on the tongue. - while this one is more of something that reminds one of the concrete jungle and everyday struggle. Peace and love!

Nah hell no my friends. One hour of smoking uncle Michael’s worn socks? Hell no. Production wise it looks good but consistency betrays cheap intentions. Burns quick - like a short filler- and good luck trying to build any ash on this one. Taste is not my piece if cake at all. Old moldy wood, rust, wet old leather, rancid wet hay… all in all it reminds me of abandoned houses and their specific smell. Yes it is a cheap stick bit won’t try another even if I m paid to.
