Similar in profile to other Cameroon cigars, but lacking the refinement of Oliva Special G or Hemingway. At times it carried a cigarette-like note and a touch of harshness, making it feel a step down in quality compared to those smoother, more balanced counterparts.

Bold, satisfying, and surprisingly balanced. From the start, the smoke is thick and earthy with a rich cocoa base and just a shadow of pepper—nothing aggressive. What really stood out for me was the middle: a perfect moment where it all clicked—bittersweet chocolate, a dry woodiness, and a kind of warm ginger-like bitterness that gave it real character. It’s dark but never harsh, complex but never overwhelming. A slow, rewarding smoke that leaves a lasting impression without trying too hard. Definitely a keeper in my lineup.

This cigar started with a pleasant, creamy butter smoke, yet dominated by sharp, bitter white pepper. The contrast was striking, but the strength made retrohales too harsh for me. By the final third, the profile turned unpleasant, losing its earlier charm. Not much difference in smells - just pepper and cream, maybe hint of burnt leather, but not much. Overall it was pleasant cigar, just a bit too hars for me on pepper.

A charming, underrated Honduran cigar that carries the soul of an old gentleman’s study. From the moment I unwrap the cedar sleeve, I've been greeted with warm, nostalgic notes - dry wood, polished leather, and a faint whisper of vintage cologne. The draw is smooth, with flavors of light spice, creamy wood, toasted nuts, and just a hint of sweetness that lingers like old paperbacks. The cedar influence is unmistakable - elegant, never overpowering, and it shapes the whole experience into something quietly memorable. Perfect for a reflective evening, a jazz record, or a slow drink after grilled fish and orange zest. It’s not a show-off cigar - it’s a confidant.

Strong. Bold. Leather all the way through. Smells promising at first, lights up with punch - but it stays on that one note like a radio stuck on the same station. No real evolution. Near the band it turns bitter. It’s not bad, just… strong tobacco without much else. I cannot say it has any fruit, sweet or nut notes - just burned leather, wood, toast maybe "soil". More power and tobacco than any other taste. Very masculine but boring. Reading other's reviews I am thinking - guys you are serious - this sigar has no diversity or development at all, it starts and ends at the same smell and taste, I am curious where you find chocolate or coffee notes in it - it's plain quality tobacco, straight and simple as a wooden plank and smells the same.

Start: Opens with a mild toasted bread note it was pleasant but not remarkable. Overall feel is a bit cheaper and less refined compared to previous cigars I've tried. Mid: Flavor settles into dry tobacco, grass, and faint white pepper. One quick whiff of ammonia/barnyard early on, but it fades. Profile stays dry, with little sweetness or cream. Final Third: Flavors collapse into generic smoke, losing clarity. Noticeable tar buildup – moist, sour notes appear. The cigar physically swallowed inward, softening and forming a slight pyramid shape near the tip. Verdict: Nice start and solid structure early on, but uninspiring overall, especially by the end. Probably better in a shorter size or with more rest or the different cigar.

A refined echo of the Oliva Special G, but with an even more stripped-down, focused profile. From the first puff, it opens with a warm note of fried walnuts, lightly crisped and earthy, soon wrapped in a soft layer of charcoal cream—a curious mix of toastiness and smooth ash. There’s almost no spice or pepper, making it incredibly easy on the retrohale. The draw is excellent despite the perfecto shape, and the burn holds steady throughout. While it lacks the layered complexity, its simplicity is its charm—quiet, honest, and dependable. Perfect for when you want something familiar, mellow, and just a little nutty. But doesn't worth the price especially having special G as a budget option - won't buy again as it's approx 2-3 times overpriced.

A compact masterpiece with an incredibly smooth profile. From the first draw, it delivers rich woody and nutty aromas, balanced by subtle notes of cream, toast, and a hint of chocolate. There's almost no pepper, making the retrohale gentle and refined. What I appreciated most was its harmonious balance—never overpowering, always elegant. The medium body and perfect construction make it an ideal short smoke (~40 min) for quiet moments or light pairings. If I could change one thing, I’d love just a touch more sweetness or honey-like warmth to round out the experience. Still, it remains one of the best cigars I’ve tried for its consistency, structure, and mild complexity.

Honestly, I’m really disappointed. I’d heard great things about this cigar - how it’s smooth, organic, and mild - but my experience was the opposite. The first half was just boring: peppery, flat, and sour, with a weird, cheap, papery, almost chemical aftertaste. It honestly reminded me of the cheapest cigarette paper, which I never expected from a premium stick. I kept going, hoping it would open up - and to be fair, just past the halfway point, it did get better. It shifted toward a profile I actually enjoy: dry cedar, a bit of cream - kind of in the same ballpark as my go-to, the Joya de Nicaragua Clásico Original (which I love). At that point, it finally started to become pleasant. I even wanted to finish it right down to the cap - but by then it was already too hot to keep going. Something about the smoke just didn’t sit right with me. I ended up feeling cigar-sick - slightly nauseous, a bit off - and kind of regretted the whole thing, with a lingering, shameful sour plum aftertaste in my mouth. I had eaten beforehand (fresh Italian lamb barbecue with a decent red wine) and smoked slowly, so it wasn’t rookie pacing. I usually tolerate medium cigars just fine. Compared to most of the glowing reviews here... big disappointment. Was this just a bad stick? I hope so.
