Brazil Trüllerie

Brazil Trüllerie

Brazil Trüllerie from the factory August Schuster has a long tradition. The old brand was already long gone from the market, and was launched by the traditional family manufacturer again.

It is processed not only with Brazilian tobaccos, but with a well-defined mixture of Brazil and Havana tobaccos. The finest blends of exklusive Mata Fina and Mata Norte, Brazil, and from the Vuelta Abajo and Remedios cubanischen regions are processed. This most expensive wrapper leaf in the world, the Mata Fina, makes the real difference. This implies the uniqueness of Brazil Trüllerie. Its characteristic flavors range from the typical Brazilian, from the delicious and satisfying cuban tobacco to the well-known and popular Brazilian and spicy flavours.

The Brazil Trüllerie is an elegant cigarillos that gives us the fire and the soul of Brazil, as well as the strength for pleasant hours of enjoyment. Each smoker takes pleasure in different vitolas (sizes) to find his individual favorite n this specialty range.

The assortment box "Fancy Smoke" offers an excellent overview of the Brazilian flavor spectrum and is also perfect as a gift!

Hint: for lovers of cigarillos with sumatra tobacco, there are also several vitolas (sizes)available in the "Dutch" alternative called "Sumatra Trüllerie"!

Chronicle of the August Schuster cigar factory in Bünde

August Schuster founded the cigar manufacturer in 1909 in the former cigar capital of Germany, in Bünde in Westphalia. His son, Hans Schuster takes over the cigar factory in 1953 and managed the company until 1983.

Currently, the two brothers Manfred and Philip Schuster, are the company's directors. They are committed to the tradition of their ancestors and put pride and craftmenship in both their own products as well as the imported Longfiller cigars (hand-rolled cigars from entire leaves). Only products made from 100% tobacco leave the factory in Bünde. The next generation is already on board as well: Manfred's son Oliver, and Philip's son, Hans-Martin.

A small oddity can be found in the public phone directory: instead of an entry of the factory, only the name "August Schuster" is found. A mere four (!)-Digit number. This recalls the times when German Fräuleins connected the calls manually.

The brands August Schuster produces itself in its own factory are Cardenal Mendoza, Lepanto, Brazil Trüllerie and especially the famous Partageno which have a permanent place on the shelves of German cigar shops. The imported, but still own brands such as Casa de Torres, Maria Mancini and Rodrigo de Jerez, are regarded the same way. They are all very fairly priced, high quality cigars from Caribbean origin.

Manfred and Philipp Schuster are managing this traditional manufacturer from Bünde, that guarantees still greater pleasure and constant, very high quality of the product. In addition to that, it is the dedication of Philipp Schuster at an industry level that deserves recognition. This is due to his tireless fight against politically imposed cuts and regulations toward the tobacco cigar.

In early Bünde lived many prosperous manufacturing families. Here once was the center for cigars in Germany, and it seems that it once was a great way to make money. Although the town is still known as the cigar city, is actually only hosts one single cigar producer: August Schuster. The only other remaining producer, Andre Arnold, does not produce here any more, but just left its administrative headquarter on the spot.

Since its inception, August Schuster, has survived hard times and a comprehensive structural change. A large part of sales of leading German tobacco shops own brands' are produced here by Schuster. Although the own production is mostly mashine-made, even these products are surprisingly labour intensive.
