Humidor Life After Cigarettes

A true champion from the cold draw. This is probably one of the most underpriced cigars out there. The element of pepper simply intensifies but never becomes overbearing, It's simply a case of a tabacalera that knows exactly what it is doing. A beautiful introduction to the 1926 and 1964 series. Tabac Benden kindly included a complimentary stick with 2 of my recent orders. The first one seemed OK but monotonous. The second one went in the humidor as a pretty uninteresting s tick and a couple of months later came out as quite a tasty and enjoyable little cigar. It's primarily toasty with a very pleasant nutty undertone and quite an open draw. Later on it gets muskier, earthier and creamier. The burn could have been a bt more even but this didn't bother me much. Thank you, Cigarworld, this was an enjoyable Mexican smoke

I also had an issue with a torn wrapper with one of the two examples I smoked. The first was smoked as soon as I received them. The wrapper partly deteriorated after the first third - towards the half way point. I smoked another after 10 days. This time there were no problems with the wrapper. This is a thoroughly enjoyable smoke, with a very good draw despite a slightly intense 'tobaccoey' overtone. The earthy tone increases towards the second third and all the way to the end. Present were leather and also a hint of toast towards the end. A truly enjoyable cigar at a great price. Well worth getting a box with my next order.

A bit expensive but absolutely accurate.

Consistent, yet not monotonous. Cold draw is pretty balanced with spicy overtone. Upon lighting up the initial spice and sharpness mellows into a solid, medium bodied smoke. Despite its size you need to give it time. A respectable amount of smoke and sightly flaky ash. The burn needed correcting a couple of times. This little beauty definitely punches above its weight. Very good value for money. A regular buy

The first one I smoked annoyed me a little due to the sweet smell. A flavoured cigar would have been preferable! The second one would simply not draw. It felt like a badly plugged cigar from the very start. I have isolated the remaining 2 and do not intend to smoke them unless it's an emergency.

A solid, dependable cigar. Excellent construction and even burn. A bit on the mild side but quite flavourful and consistent. Very good value, although at this price point my favourite is definitely the Don Pepin FMZ bundled robusto.

Excellent value for money. Except for a slight grassy note the cold draw is pretty much neutral. The smooth leather that develops from the first third is reminiscent of a classic Cuban. Truly enjoyable to the very end. A definite regular in the humidor. I smoked the first one a few days after receiving it. Will try another in a couple of weeks and update this review.

It's a smoke machine! Tends towards slightly sweet, nutty and creamy notes with a solid undertone of earth and a touch of pepper as it progresses beyond the half-way point. A truly enjoyable smoke especially on a leisurely weekend morning.
