Second and third cigar: supreme to the other maduro in its price range. Lightly wrapped and seem to have some elasticity in cover leaf after being in the humidor for 30 days at 65%. After lighting proved to be still somewhat dry but truly excellent . Beautiful dark brown cover leaf and general construction was very good. Cold smoke aroma of chocolate and wood. Start off with a very strong pepper bittersweet chicory taste but mellowed to a pleasing aromatic blend of nuts and chocolate after the first third point (mild chocolate and wood). Continues to be somewhat strong but at the half way point becomes somewhat milder but retains the light bitterness. At the end, the bitterness is extremely mellowed away. If you are looking for a cigar with varying taste this is one. Draw is very good and the ash is white/ light silver. Duration-45 minutes but burns fast and uneven but offers a very wonderful experience . The third cigar was as good as the second, so I can only guess that the first one was not representative of the brand . This is one of the better maduro on the market( for me) and after my second and third cigar, my opinion has greatly improved. The perfect cigar for after dinner short walk this will therefore will be a permanent member of my humidor .

This was a great surprise . The construction is ok; cover leaf good and not tightly wrapped with very good draw and very good smoke volume. Lots of cream at the beginning. Midway through a hint of leather and grass but very mild and creamy from start to finish. This is an excellent cigar for beginner or those that love to enjoy an easy smoke. No bitterness! An exceptional everyday cigar with a very pleasant smelling smoke . This one can be smoked in mixed company and on any other occasion. "The only down side was that because it is so loosely wrapped ,you will get occasional bits of tobacco in your month when you take deep draws " but this didn't distract from the overall enjoyment of this very nice cigar for me. I am not a big fan of very mild cigars but this one was 65 minutes of smoking enjoyment and at this price a great tip! Will be a Permanent member of my humidor.

Very nice cigar! Pleasant smoke, good draw, excellent construction. The cover leaf is very nicely made, smooth and the shade coloring is picture book. A very even burn and a very firm gray ash. Had it in my humidor for about two weeks prior to smoking , it is a medium to light strong cigar, I think it will be really an exceptional low cost everyday mild to medium cigar with six months to one year ageing. Starts off with a pleasing grass and wood taste . About half way, a nice taste of toast comes in to enhance the strong grass and wood to really meow the taste out. Performances was great and I will for sure have several ageing in my humidor from now on.

I was very pleasing surprised with this very mild to medium strength cigar at a very good price. Worth trying!!! Started off strong at lightning but quickly converted to a mild and enjoyable very pleasing smoke. Is very tightly wrapped and the draw is somewhat hard but satisfactory. In the middle a true pleasure with an excellent blue gray smoke. I am not a long fomat cigar person cigar but this was a extremely enjoyable 1 hour and 20 minutes . Large smoke volume, not one i would choose to smoke in a crowd but would perfect for easy evening relaxing on the terrace with a nice cognac. This one will be in my humidor in the future.

A great small cigar. Quality product and well wrapped but not too tight. The outer wrap is excellent. Has a very easy draw . Overall Construction A+(Nice and properly tight). Very uniform ash . Has a lite pepper taste at the beginning and a note of grass blended in the middle of the cigar and not bitter at the end. The smoke volume is not high which make it an excellent cigar to enjoy in mixed company. Fast burn, 30 -35 min. The perfect beginner cigar and is super with a short whiskey after a long day. These have become my traveling companion.

As a aged short corona , I expected a lot more. Perhaps the two I smoked were from a bad batch but they were both were not very well constructed, cover leaf not finished and the cigar is very loosely wrapped , pre cut and broke down during the course of the 35 minutes smoking duration. Burn is uneven but draw is ok. Starts off medium to strong when lite. Turns bitter to the tongue about half way through . Had to relight it several times and several bits of the cigar core was in my month at each draw. This greatly reduced my ability to enjoy the cigar. The taste was actually unidentifiable, leather and wood tastes came through at times. Smoke volume was ok . This is not a candidate for my humidor.

This is a very pleasing surprise! The Ash is exceptional, solid and has a very even burn . Not a great looker but very cleanly constructed with a very firm cover leaf. It is not real tightly wrapped and therefore the draw is really outstanding. Starts out with nice leather taste and blends into nuts and toast about half way. No bite at all throughout the entire smoke and enjoyably mild (not typical of a Cuban cigar). The smoke volume is very good! A very very good cigar, exceptional price and a true pleasure plus 60 minutes of smoking enjoyment!!!! The perfect cigar for grill party, sitting in the back yard just relaxing or an afternoon walk. This cigar will have an entire drawer of my humidor from now on.

A great and somewhat milder cigar. Great taste with a strong chocolate and nut taste somewhat creamy at the last 1/3 of the cigar. The ash is excellent and this is a cigar that can be enjoyed from the first to last draw. The workmanship is exceptional as is typical of Romeo y Julieta products. Well worth the price!!! *************** Revised review- ********** the second and third cigars were not as good as the first one. Cover wraps had either holes or were cracked when they came out of the tube . These were far less enjoyable experiences in taste and workmanship and were far below the R y J standard.

Very disappointed with the overall performance of this cigar! After having it age for 10 days in the humidor at 70% - the outer wrap was dry and cracked. Loosely wrapped! In the first third started with a nuts and sweet taste. Midway through had burn grass followed by no aroma. This is a fast burning cigar . the draw is hard but is satisfactory. Excellent ash. 45 minutes duration. Uneven burn! Bites and bitter to the tongue at the end. Perhaps I got bad one but this cigar is not traditional of Romeo y Julieto products. Will not be a permanent residence in my humidor.

A first class small cigar. The construction is exceptional. Great cover leaf. Very good draw, excellent ash. A great slow burning 40 minutes of smoking delight. Starts off with a mild nut and chocolate favor that progress to a sweet and creamy . Not to much but very pleasing smoke . Exceptional for beginners. A+ rating!

A very excellent cigar. Creamy and somewhat sweet at the start. Went to nut and toast . Perfect wrapped and a really overall pleasure to smoke. This is one of my favorite mini cigar and has permanent placement in my humidor

A nice cigar, but actually overpriced. workmanship and favor ok but not what I expected . Will not be a continued member of my humidor

This is a nice cigar but just not for me. Clean dark well constructed cover leaf. Draw very good but this one is not for a beginners . Started off with a strong pepper and leather taste, somewhat bitter. Become somewhat milder after the first third but remained medium in strength. Smoke volume is very good but the burn is uneven. Products a very strong grey ash. In general, a pleasing taste for the entire 50+ minutes duration. Turns more bittersweet at the end.

This is a very enjoyable cigar. Just the thing for both beginners and seasoned smokers looking for a treat . It is very mild and a pleasure from the first to the last draw. It has an exceptional ash and burn very even. The actual burn slow and there is not a lot of smoke. The construction is A+. An excellent cigar to enjoy in mixed company. It starts off with a taste of wood and leather, as you get about a third in the cigar it sweeten up and you get a breeze of chocolate and cream. There is no bitterness in the taste and you can enjoy it an entire 40 minutes. The price of this cigar is exceptional for the quality and enjoyment this cigar has to offer. this cigar and the Davidoff primero will be primary components of my humidor.
