Humidor Short Dog

Hmm a bit of a disappointment. Smoked it for about 80 minutes. Or at least I've tried to. Very hard to smoke. The draw is bad. The tobacco is over condensed. I had to stick it from the bottom to be able to draw decently. Too bad because it looks well rolled, the tobacco mixture is good in taste and flavour but... when you can't smoke it right you can't enjoy it so...no. All in all it felt like having to eat uncracked nuts without a cracker... Cannot recommend it but would continue to try other My Father cigars. Peace and love!

Toasty, creamy, earthy. 8.5/10 and if it would have been a bit cheaper could have been an easy 9/10. A beautiful stick, with nice and good quality labels, which delivers on all fronts. Easy to light up and to smoke, constant even burn and great ash collection. Construction is a la carte and the taste - although nothing extraordinary - is decent enough to place this stick in the category of "everyday cigar indulgence". All in all it feel like my favourite breakfast. Nothing fancy, but consistent, tasty enough and hearty. I will try some other sticks from this brand for sure and I fully recommend at least one try for this one. Peace and love!

Meh. I was expecting more from a well established brand. About 90 minutes of smoking. It is well done. The label and cover makes it look cool and all, but it has more talking of the talk than walking of the walk. For the price it is a 7.5/10. Spicy, toasty, hay, wood. All there, but the mix is nothing special. All in all it feels like a beautiful bird that....cannot fly. I will try other My Father cigars for sure, but this I don't think so. Could I recommend it? Now this is a stick. 8.5/10. 100 minutes of smoking time. Aroma wise it's nothing out of the ordinary but definitely a pleasant taste. Not too strong and a bit spicy when blown off the nose. Well rolled and a very good burn. Easy to light. Now the big plus: the amount of smoke. Oh my oh my it's like a chimney and that is absolutely great in my opinion. All in all it feels like those Italian pizzas. Simple, but 100% on point. I would smoke it again and I recommend at least one try. A bit pricy though for the overall quality. There's way tastier cheaper options. Peace and love!

A strong little stick. Tasty too. 30 minutes smoking time. Rolled to perfection. Taste is punchy and "serious" - also a strong cigar. Tough aromas, but good. Spicy. Woody. Earthy. Forest. Hay. All there. Amount of smoke is impressive for its size and the burning is perfect. All in all it feels like a father who's taking the father role serious. Tough, but good. I will explore the Davidoff world some more and I fully recommend it too. Pricy? Yes. But quality is there 100%. Peace and love!

A well rolled stick. Smoked it for about 100 minutes. Burn was even, easy to light, easy to smoke and it provides a great amount of smoke. Now the taste. Interesting combination. Felt very grassy-woody. That was a bit too much for me, but that is only a personal remark. If you like grass-wood-pepper in a strong punchy mix - this cigar is for you. The label can be improved (was impossible to take out without damaging the cigar a bit). Still - a very well rolled cigar for the price. All in all it felt like going to a halloween party with the Christmas mood in mind. I won't try it again since it's not my piece of cake but I would recommend it for sure if you like strong flavours. Excellent. 9/10. Duration time approx 70 minutes. Perfectly rolled, burns like a charm and the amount of smoke is right. Now the good part. The taste is so...consistent. A blend of aromas that are not unique (pepper, soil, toast, coffee, wood) BUT the aroma is delivered in a clear, punchy way with each toke. You can also "taste" the quality of the tobacco with each draw. Creaminess? Plenty! Also the label is like a cigar label should be. Quality paper with beautiful design and emboss. All in all it feels like the airport lounge. You just feel treated right. Simple as that. Would I smoke it again? Yes. Would I recommend it? 100%. Peace and love!

What a light and delicious stick. Just like a summer breeze. 8/10 and would have been an 8.5 for a bit of a lesser price. Wonderful aroma mix though (feels like a bit of everything), decent construction, good burn, yet the amount of smoke could have been more. All in all it feels like when you go out in a field and you can smell the animal dumps mixed with the freshly cut grass. A feeling of fairness and closure to nature. I'll try more from this brand and I'd recommend you try it too at least once to see how it is. Peace and love!

A very tasty cigar indeed. 8.5/10 and if it would have had more amount of smoke in the puffs - would have been a clear 9 or even more. Duration approx 90 minutes. From the way it looks to the way it is built - all screams quality. The elegant labels gives it a visually appeal that stands out of the crowd. Minimal, but no compromise on quality. It lights easy, it is easy to smoke and the amount of flavours is astonishing yet not overwhelming. The only drawback from making this a perfect cigar is the amount of smoke which is medium. All in all it feels like a wonderful first dat where everything goes the way it should, with the only drawback being your own small dose of anxiety. I will smoke it again and will try others from Dunbarton and this stick I would recommend to try at least once. Peace and love!

Interesting smoke. 7.2/10 though. Let me tell you why. First things first it lasted about 80 minutes and the burn was consistent, with a good ash collection. The not so good part is the construction. The wrapper was kind of going off in some places - although this did not affect the pleasure of smoking. Still - for an almost 10 Eur stick this is not acceptable. The taste is good though. Nothing to remember for long, but it does the job. Toast, coffee and wood are the most present and they blend well. All in all it felt like the first day in high school. Some cool people, but lots of unexpected and the slight unpleasant feeling that the holiday is over. Would I smoke it again? Not sure. Would I recommend it? If you afford trying stuff... it's worth a try yes. Peace and love.

Good job, Aurora. Good stick. 8.5/10. Smoking time approx 110 minutes. Solid built, good amount of smoke - very creamy - and a cozy taste. Aroma blend of wood, soil, cocoa, nuts, toast and bit of pepper are tickling your senses in a light but satisfactory way. Not too strong so beginners might enjoy it too. All in all it felt like a warm, lazy, sunny late autumn weekend afternoon. A simple joy of life. Will smoke again and I confidently recommend at least one try. Decent price too. Peace and love!

Now this is an excellent cigar. Hats down to the producers. 9.2/10. Smoking time approx 100 minutes. Built to perfection. Burning is excellent and draw is easy although it is a pretty strong cigar. The amount of smoke is absolutely impressive and the taste is delicious. Coca, little pepper, soil, nuts. What a delight! Also the labels are good quality and for this price it is an absolutely must have and smoke. All in all it felt like the first time in my life I've got a raise at work. Everything just felt right in that day. I felt confident, optimistic and strong. I will smoke it again for sure and recommend it 100%. Peace and love!

Medium smoke. Duration 100 minutes more or less. Burns decent, tastes decent (chocolate, coffee, cream, soil, but of pepper) and decent construction. Really can't say anything out of the ordinary about this one. All in all it felt like the daily morning sandwich you buy on your way to work. Ok, but ...just ok. Will probably try others from this brand. Cannot recommend it or say don't smoke it either. Peace and love!

Complete fail. Construction is weird, making it hard to draw the smoke. Amount of smoke is not enough. At some point my maxillary was hurting for desperately trying to draw something in. Average aromas...I'd say dull. Not worth the money at all. In this price range and category you go for Maria Mancini or Flor de Copan and you are light years ahead from all perspectives. All in all it feels to me like Finanzamt or Deutsche Bank. Quick to take your money but good luck getting something of quality back. A no go for me. Peace and love!
