Humidor Short Dog

Got this as a present (bought from Cigarworld) and my what a present it was. Smoking time: approx 100 minutes. An excellent cigar from the way it's b built (perfect consistency and stuffed tobacco with a perfect cover) to the way it burns (no need to relight it even after 1.5-2 minutes of rest) and the forming ash is stable and consistent also. Taste wise I felt it a bit stronger for me (beginner here) but the strong tobacco leaf aromas with touches of dark chocolate, nuts and coffee was gorgeous. It's the kind of cigar which goes excellent in the evening, after a hefty dinner, paired with a nice cognac. Expensive indeed - but then again how much should a perfectly built cigar cost? I'd repeat this each time I will afford. All in all - this stick made me think of maturity. Of being aware of ones potency in all aspects of the word. The kind of cigar you smoke after a hard battle (no matter if won or lost). The kind of cigar you spoil yourself with. Something to remind one of the little moments when life is worth enjoying. Just when I was about to think that cheap cigars are crap...I bumped into Casa Culinaria Connecticut Belicoso and I was simply blown away. So smooth. So fruity. So aromatic and creamy - I think it's the first fruity cigar I ever smoked. Absolutely gorgeous from start to finish. 70 minutes smoking time. I feel like it is the type of cigar one can smoke on a daily basis - and goes great with easy drinks like wine or a juice. All in all - reminded me of a particular spring day when I was walking with my kindergarten colleagues - smelling the blossomed trees. Tasting the air. Innocent. Not knowing what life would bring and wouldn't even care back then. I'll definitely give more kisses to this delightful Belicoso. I recommend it with all my heart. Oh wow what a surprise! About 180 minutes of awesomeness. Considering I've tried the Quisqueya MADURO Matador just some days ago and was not enchanted at all - this was so different. First things first: aromas for 4 Eur?! Amazing. Chocolate-coffe and a creamy feel in the "potent" smoke started to kick in after the first 20% of it and the aromas and creaminess only developed more as I was smoking it. Good amount of smoke, nice burn and a good construction. Started to open towards the very end, but it was already 3 hours since this bad boy was being devoured. Long story short: not Michelin star, but satisfying. Imagine you end up in a good quality doner shop and you order a huge plate. You get your hunger down, you are full and it was delicious but still at the end of the day it was a doner for 4 bucks. Peace and love!

Dull smoke. For the price there's nothing much to expect though. Good draw, good amount of smoke and a good construction. Quite impressive for such a cheap cigar BUT. The extreme peppery feel and dry smoke made me miss a rolled cigarette. Not sorry I have tried it as I'm a beginner hungry to try as much as possible, but will not repeat the experience. Conclusion: were you ever hungry but had nothing in your fridge nor the possibility to go out or order and you find a cheap can of sardines and you eat it with some improvised boiled pasta because you can t even find bread? Well that's exactly how this feels like. If your mouth burns for a smoke it s a smoke. Nothing more. Peace and love!

Tried it together with an Espresso Martini. Duration time: approx 80 min. Went well for an average out and about with friends. Not something I'd enjoy properly on my terrace. The quality reflects the price quite well. Value for the money is decent. Nothing special, but I can't say it's bad. Not much aroma or taste. Decently easy to smoke, but the amount of smoke is not satisfying if you're a heavy smoker. Burning and construction - quite well for a 4 bucks stick. All in all: imagine a Tuesday evening sex with your stable partner, when you're both pretty tired and not in the best shape - but in the end you still enjoy it because doing it is better than. nothing at all. Same with this smoke. Might buy it again for cheap cigar escapades. Peace and love!

Just smoked it. Yes - good value for the money, but don't get too excited yet. Smoking time: 1 hour and 40 minutes. Tried hard to find any trace of a good aroma, but wasn't lucky. Tasted like those cheap cigars I was smoking occasionally to show off that I'm smoking a cigar when I was a kid. Now it's not horrible - but there is absolutely nothing special about it. Worth trying once, but would not repeat. After all - it was 4 Eur and that's how it tasted like. The decent/good part: well done, well rolled. Nice burn and consistent "taste" - got very spicy in the last part, which its not a bad thing after all. Conclusion: Dull, light smoke - I'd say fit for noon cigarette smokers, but lacking aromas. La Aurora Cameroon Robusto. Since I m a beginner - bought it by accident but was a pleasant surprise. Would I smoke it again? Absolutely. Many times? I wouldn't marry it for sure. What I liked about it was the feeling of consistency from the way it's made to the way it fills my mouth with just the right strength of smoke, aromas and spiciness. A bit of everything - but on the full, potent side of things. Could be cheaper, since it's nothing out of the ordinary and I've smoked cheaper ones with the same level of satisfaction. I'd say a good cigar for the plebs. For the people with flame in the chest. If I'd be a rich, bored with life and trying to hide my anxiety with benzos - I probably would go for something more... suave. Elegant. Easy on the tongue. - while this one is more of something that reminds one of the concrete jungle and everyday struggle. Peace and love!

Now first things first I m a baby bubba when it comes to smoking cigars, BUT I've already tried about 20-30 brands and brothers and sisters Joya de Nicaragua Antonio CT is absolutely gorgeous for a beginner. The aroma is light, the smoke volume that fills my mouth is enough to tease me to wasn't more, but too light to make me say "ok I ve had enough". Smoking this one feels like being over teased by the light yet present aromas, but never allowed to "finish" - because even though this is not a small cigar, each time I smoked it I felt like I wanted more. All in all until now it is one of my favourites BUT a bit too expensive and definitely not something I can afford smoking on a daily basics although I wish I could. Peace and love!
