Ursprünglich war der Piemont Blend als Rotweintabak aus der Horst-Lichter-Kollektion erhältlich. Der Starkoch und passionierte Pfeifenraucher Horst Lichter ist auch Namenspate für mehrere Pfeifenmodelle der Firma Vauen. So ist es nur logisch, dass er, der Fachmann in Sachen Geschmack, auch einen Abstecher in die Sparte Tabak wagt. Und was dabei herauskommt, ist durchaus kreativ, denn Horst Lichters Rotweintabak ist alles andere alltäglich. Dieser Blend von mildem Aroma, gepaart mit einem der geschmacklich komplexesten Genussmittel überhaupt, besitzt eine einzigartige, leicht süßliche Rotweinnuance und dürfte auch für fortgeschrittene Pfeifenraucher eine interessante Erfahrung darstellen.

schmeckt nach Glühwein, ziemlich zimtig. Süffelt leicht. Ansonsten geschmacklich eine gelungene Abwechslung - kein all day Tabak, aber ich werd ihn mir ab und an mal wieder gönnen. Aromareiche, gelungenene Komposition.

It's a bit too much like smoking red wine, the smell from the freshly opened box can be quite overpowering. Very mild and easy to smoke, though. I could imagine that it's a love-or-hate kind of tobacco.
