Humidor Primary

The cigar construction is a bit bumpy, but overall even. The stick does not give a particular cold smell or draw. The draw is indeed a bit loose even though i tried to cut as little as possible from the cap. It takes fire well and from the start espresso bitterness, pepper and wood come out. The smoke volume is OK. The draw loosens up more as i continue to smoke the cigar. Pretty soon the pepper intensity and espresso bitterness reduces but are still present. The main profile of wood remains unchanged. The burn is wavy, but did not require correction on my copy. Overall linear, which for 3.9 Eur might not be a deal breaker, but this cigar did not excite me enough to buy again.

The stick was rolled so tight i could use it as a hammer. Optically it has a nice dark, oily wrapper with medium veins. The band gives the shape additional class. After the cut I could barely draw through it, it was almost fully plugged. At this point i know i had lost the battle but tried to light it either way. Very little smoke coming through, like trying to suck concrete through a straw. Only a faint earthy aroma from the few puffs I could take. It might be good, if you find one that has a good draw. I have the Lords version resting, I hope it performs better

A real cocoa bomb! The wrapper finish is similarly rustic like the Ashton, but the feel in hand is smooth and velvety, like having ground cocoa between your fingers. Cold smell clearly points to cocoa grounds. Unfortunately the 2 sticks i tried were very tightly rolled, heavy in hand with very tight draw. It was like trying to smoke through a small straw. As a consequence the cigar had a tendency to put itself out. The flavor again reminds of cocoa, no transitions, but i just cant get over the bad draw. Such a shame.

Surprisingly mild cigar with a nice presentation. Triple band, one on the bottom and 2 near the final third. I like the fact i gives me a band even near the end of the smoke. This is the first cigar where i could taste the sweetness i was smelling before i lit it. Starts of mild, retrohaling with no issue, but near the final third picks up in strength. The only nick i could find was an uneven burn in the first third, which corrected itself. Firm white ash and plenty of smoke. Overall very enjoyable.

The stick i got was very bumpy on the surface, like it had been rolled too tight. Never the less the draw was good. The smoking experience though for me was disappointing with bland taste and constant burn issues.

Very smooth Connecticut wrapper. i like the cedar wood wrapper. Smell reminds me of a fruity note. Took in fire well, very mild smoke. No bitterness but also not a lot of flavor development for me. It burned well, the draw was adequate, however id did not produce copious amounts of smoke. Whenever you feel like scaling down, enjoying a creamy smooth taste, pick one up. I know i will

Very Mild cigar, no bitterness noted throughout the smoke. The aftertaste reminded me of walnut. Beautiful wrapper, soft loosely rolled. Even burn. In the end, did not excite me much in terms of flavor. It seems that darker wrappers are my thing

The cigar is a classy presentation with a milk chocolate wrapper. Cold draw gives sweetness and the draw is perfect. It takes fire well and burns evenly, good news for a box pressed cigar. The smoke has volume and is mild to medium in strength, and gives a multitude of creamy flavors. Nuts, sweetness, Coffee and Chocolate are present throughout the whole smoke. Only a little bit of white pepper on the back of the mouth in the second third. What stood out to me is the cool smoke, and a mint tea finish.

Rustic finish, which matches the band. Thick, toothy wrapper and no noticeable bumps or pits. Cold draw does not give out sweetness for me. I got a bitter hit on light up, i even thought i seared the cigar, but it cleared up from the second puff. From then on a mild smoke which reminds of cocoa. Even on the final third it kept its mild strength and flavor profile. Such a mild smoke i don't have issues chewing on it while i work in the garden.

Very good build quality! I have seen sticks that cost 3 times more that were in worse shape. The satin finish on the band is a nice touch. The smoke is very mild, even as a beginner i could retro-hale without any irritation. This smoke is for when you just want to unplug and take a calm cruise, no taste surprises, just a mild smooth smoke
