Eine außerordentlich gute Zigarre für den Preis. Ein guter, voller Geschmack, viel Ähnlichkeit mit kubanischen Zigarren, aber etwas weniger intensiv (was mir lieber ist). Schöne Verarbeitung. Asche hält ca. 5 cm. Die kaufe ich auf jeden Fall weiterhin. Gesamtbewertung; 7/10

Sehr leckere Zigarre in einem schönen Format wenn man mal was anderes als eine Robusto rauchen möchte.
Abbrand, Zugverhalten und Rauchvolumen sind hervorragend. Geschmacklich dominieren finde ich die kubanischen Anteile etwas. Eher holzig erdig als nussig. Aber das ist nicht schlecht.
Das ganze Rauchvergnügen ist recht cremig mit einer leichten Süße. Wer dominikanische und kubanische Zigarren mag, liegt hier gut dabei. Auch sonst ist es eine hervorragende Zigarre zu einem super Preis.

I initially overestimated this cigar slightly. The Meine Longfiller Bundles Mareva 1081 is consistently well made, with a firm roll, even burn, excellent ash retention, and reliable construction. It is a dependable everyday cigar from a mechanical point of view.
The flavor is mild, clean, and linear, with low nicotine strength. However, on closer evaluation, the profile is more bland, woody, papery, and blunt than I first appreciated. It remains smooth and free from harshness or bitterness, but it does not offer much complexity or development.
In terms of overall flavor, I would place it somewhere between the Rocky Patel Seed to Smoke Classic Churchill and the Domaine de Lavalette Classic Double Corona. It is less refined and expressive than the Rocky Patel, but more satisfying and substantial than the Domaine de Lavalette.
It pairs well with coffee or black tea and works particularly well as a relaxed morning or afternoon cigar. One of its strengths is that it remains pleasant all the way to the nub, without becoming excessively hot, bitter, or harsh.
At €2.80 per stick, I consider this cigar overpriced. The Astoria de Nicaragua Classic Cremas is slightly smaller, costs €2.00, and delivers a more satisfying and characterful smoke.
For me, the Meine Longfiller Bundles Mareva 1081 becomes an acceptable everyday cigar at approximately €2.40 or less. At €2.80, I would rather spend the additional €0.60 and smoke a Rocky Patel Seed to Smoke Classic Churchill at €3.40.
I would still keep this cigar in my humidor, but only as a basic, uncomplicated everyday smoke when purchased at the right price.
Verdict: Acceptable at €2.40 or less, but not recommended at €2.80.
P.S. All cigars reviewed here are aged for at least six months at 19°C (66°F) and 69% relative humidity. Before smoking, they rest for approximately two weeks at room temperature and 62% relative humidity to acclimatize and develop a more balanced, representative flavor.
