Could be, but not there yet. Smoked it for about 80 minutes. Looks good, seems and feels well rolled and the consistency is decent. Burning is not very even though. Easy to light and correct though. Smoke is plenty, yet for the flavour mix - the creaminess is missing. A pretty strong smoke, where toast and coffee are kings, with wood, soil and grass being present too. Some chocolate feel here and there, bit of leather and peppery. Sounds better than it tastes for the price. Not bad at all - but nowhere near anything special. All in all it feels like a Tuesday at around 15.00. Absolutly nothing special about Tuesdays at 15.00. Too pricey for what you get so I will not be curious to try it further. Peace and love!

A good quality smoke that is extremely overpriced. Let me elaborate. The label is top-notch, and the cigar itself is aesthetically pleasing and feels good in the hand. Its construction is impeccable - easy to light, smooth to smoke, and it burns fairly evenly, albeit not perfectly. The ash holds well, and the volume of smoke produced is plenty and satisfying. Technically, it's a well-crafted cigar with high-quality tobacco. However, no matter how good the production quality may be, it cannot justify a €22 price tag without an intriguing blend of flavours. Speaking of flavours, there are hints of toasted caramel, occasional sweet notes, some creaminess, and traces of hay, wood, and coffee. However, it's a light smoke with a flavour profile that's too subtle. Had this cigar been priced at €8, I would have praised it hard. But at €22, it feels like a scam. All in all it feels like those restaurants that consider themselves upscale and choose to charge you triple the market price for an average curry wurst. At this price point, you'd expect the "fine dining" equivalent in the cigar world, and this cigar simply doesn't deliver. For instance, Joya de Nicaragua's offerings are light years ahead in terms of both quality and taste, and they cost less than half the price. The same goes for Auroras, and the list goes on. I won't be smoking this one again unless it's a gift (because it's not a bad smoke after all), and I can only recommend it to those with deep fat juicy yummi pockets who are simply looking to try something new. If money is never an issue for you - by all means, give it a try. Peace and love!

Had to put it down after smoking about half of it. Cheap label, the aspect of the cigar is questioning because from the touch it feels like it can crumble at any point (which started to happen after a few tokes) and the consistency is extremely bad. It almost feels like you draw in air although smoke seems to fill your mouth. Speaking of which. Musty - old fermented fruity flavours mixed with rancid humid soil - absolutely a no go. All in all it feels like what you get in return for your tax money these days. So hell no. I will stay away and you should too. It's not even about the price here - it is simply a bad cigar. Even if it was for free it would be an abomination to a stick. Peace and love!

Now let me tell you something about cigars these days. Lots of producers are raising prices but not like 10 or 20%. Nooo. 40% . Some almost double their prices like I see Aurora has been doing in the past months. Well in this case - I think they can smoke their own stash because no thank you, my friend. And I say this with sorrow, because this smoke right here is a gorgeous. Smoked it for about 2 hours. Excellent production like most Auroras and nice even burn with great ash resistance. A rough smoke, but the subtle creaminess helps a lot on the overall feel. Different types of wood - strong trees. Forest soil, old leather and toasty. Hints of coffee and nuts with some touches of pepper here and there. It kind of has the Aurora specific taste - similar to Cameroon or the 1495 series. All in all it feels like a proper cigar. The "veins" are visible on the leaf and although it looks like it can break anytime- it won't. It looks and tastes consistent. Just like a petrol versus an electric. Electric is smooth, but the petrol is petrol and you cannot say anything about that. Anyway back to the Aurora and their new fancy prices. Guys - you are not Davidoff. Or My Father. You are super cool but not tip top yet. Chill with the prices. A great smoke which should be rightfully priced about max 10 and not 12.40. Sorry Aurora but get a grip and come back to reality. Peace and love!

Almost there is not really there. Almost good is not good. 60-70 minutes of smoking time. Good looking cigar with a cheap looking label. What a pity. For this price they could do a decent label. Consistency is decent and so is the draw. Construction is also pretty good and the burning goes well. Nice creamy and plentiful smoke with each toke. Some black pepper, fruity flavours, milky coffee and some hints of chocolate. Still there's something that...is just not my style. Something that would rather go well in a cake than in a cigar in my opinion. That something is a bit of liquorice, sugar and some exotic nuts - maybe cashew? All in all it feels like those funky fancy hipster breakfasts with all sorts of healthy things in them. Good to eat once in a while but if I would have to eat that every morning I d be a healthier but sadder person. Will I smoke it again? Nope. Should you? If you like to try interesting smokes absolutely yes, but if you like the more classic feel of cigars, then stay away. Price is decent for an experiment, but I would never pay 10 for this to always have it in my humidor, when I can find gems from Joya de Nicaragua, AJ Fernandez, My Father, La Aurora, CAO or Plasencia - in the same price range. 1 try is ok. 1. Peace and love!

Cohiba Cigarillos Wide Short offen

Finally a Cigarillo that I like. Enjoyed it for about 15 minutes. Decently well rolled but easy to light and smoke. Not sure how the Cohiba cigars taste like, but this little stick was a nice surprise although I am not a cigarillo person. Spicy, toasty wood, toasty hay and hints of coffee and leather. A light smoke that makes a statement through spiciness and gives an aftertaste similar to some good cigars. All in all it feels like the sample of a cake - only leaving you with a desire to try out the whole thing. Would I smoke it again? Works great when in a rush so yes. And you should definitely try it too - especially if you like cigarillos. Peace and love!

Third time I am trying cigarillos and second time I am trying Oliva cigarillos. Smoked for about 10 minutes before I put it out. Although I love Oliva cigars - seems like cigarillos is just not for me. Very well produced, good burn, easy to light and smoke and plenty of smoke by the way. A bit creamy, a bit sweet, fruity, grassy, there s some chocolate in there and some coffee and... some taste of humid, rancid soil which I didn t like at all. All in all it felt like trying to eat a banana that was way too ripe to enjoy. Maybe cigarillos are not for me. If you are into that - at least it's a well produced stick. Couldn't recommend thought. Peace and love!

Quite a good surprise to be honest - but for 12 Eur you find smokes that are light-years ahead. Smoked it for abut 80 minutes. Very well constructed, with a nice consistency and a very even burn. Hats off to the manufacturing. Smoke amount is good, all a bit creamy, with some wood and grassy predominant aromas. There's some pepper too, a bit of coffee and some soil flavours here and there. Mid-level in strength but smooth on the mouth. All in all it feels like something that could turn into a daily habit. I can see me smoking something like this with coffee in the morning if I would smoke daily, but then again - a good day to day cigar costing more than legends from Joya de Nicaragua or a rockstar like Plasencia Reserva Original Cortez? It is like buying a VW (which I m sure is a great car) but paying an Audi price. No bueno price wise. So if budget is not a problem and you look at the financial crisis with a relaxed smile - definitely try it because it is a good stick. Otherwise - do some research because there's much better out there for the price. Peace and love!

Tatuaje Mexican Experiment ME II Robusto
verifizierter Kauf

Länge: 12.70Durchmesser: 2.14

What a surprise! A smoke with an attitude. Enjoyed it for about 110 minutes although it is not a super long stick. But very well produced and consistency is A++. Burning is nice and slow and even. There's plenty of punchy smoke, with just enough creaminess (not much) to balance the strong flavours. You mostly feel coffee and chocolate mixed with all sorts of toasty soils and some hints of nuts and pepper and even some forest wood. Great mix. All in all it feels like a good movie that leaves you thinking - because the smoke comes with a great after taste. I might be interested to try other Tatuaje after this one. If you haven't smoked it yet - go for a try. You might love it. Maybe not so much if you are a beginner or like light smokes. Peace and love!

Drew Estate Liga Privada No. 9 T52 Toro (6x52)

A true delight. Lasted for about 130 minutes with not much pause. It is one of those smokes you feel that punchy deliciousness from the first toke. With some you light it up and...you just know. This will be good. And yes - the T52 is no game. Very well processed and very well looking too (except the label which is pretty crappy). Just the right consistency for a potent, punchy smoke that produces plenty of smoke but still it is easy to draw. Aroma wise it evolves around different types of wood and soils, but in an elegant way. Smooth. Easy on the senses. There's some toasty grass too, hints of coffee and some leather also. Creaminess is not plenty - but just the right touch for this kind of stick. All in all it feels like having a conversation with a person that has authentic backbone. Straight. Safe. Pleasant. Intriguing at times. Consistent at all times. Will I smoke it again? I'm looking forward to actually. So yes. And so should you if you haven't tried it yet. Not the cheapest - but it's worth the money. If you want to see it "in action" - check "shortafella" on insta to watch short unedited films about how the cigars really look like. Peace and love!

CAO Pilon Toro

Probably the most undervalued cigar I have ever smoked. This one goes straight in the top of my list. Two full hours of plentiful, creamy, yummi and easy to draw smoke. A true gem from Nicaragua - which by the way in my opinion produces the best cigars on the market right now. So this is a big bat - with an excellent consistency - top class rolling techniques used to build it and punchy - delicious tokes. Woods, coffee, dark chocolate, toasted nuts and subtle hints of forest soils. BOOM! They all hit at once and it just awaken your senses. This is why to me this is like a coca of cigars. The punchy feel awaken the senses and make you enjoy it in the "now". And for the price? A steal. So yes - I will smoke it again. Bought 10 anyhow. And yes you should smoke it if you hand't or else you will miss a smoke that has all the chances to become a classic. Few can beat a Maria Mancini in this price range if any. Smoked this beauty for about 70 minutes. As usual - Maria Mancini comes with fair smokes for the people. For the masses of smokers. No pretentious bull but not cheap in feel and taste either. Rolled more than decent, with a rough yet simple aspect, cheap paper for the label but with a gorgeous design and the classic Mancini image and easy to light and smoke. Consistency is more towards the airy side, but not bothering considering the price. Tobacco feels good, on the mid range of strength and surprisingly creamy. Taste wise it is the mix of wood with grass and nuts that run the show, but the slight toastiness and hints of coffee, dried fruits and leather is what really makes it a grogeous smoke. All in all it feels like a well done smashed burger. It shouldn t cost much but if well done - few things in life compare to it. Will I smoke it again? Absolutely. Mancinis are already in my humidor all the time if not this one another from them. Should you? Absolutely - especially if you are not swimming in money. Absolutely good value for money. Another My Father Classic. Why My Father Classic? Because this producer knows how to leave a mark on a smokers mind. Most of their smokes come with something slightly different than any other producer does. Not sure how they do it but this one is also like that. It is just....different. Enjoyed it for about 80 minutes. Very well produced and the right consistency to produce easy tokes and an easy burning experience. Ash resistance is also spot on. Creamy yes, tasty yes and plenty of smoke yes but NO - this is not what this cigar is about. Neither about the great mixture of soils, leather, roasted coffee, roastend nuts and old hay. It is about hard to identify woods, dried exotic fruits and even some flowers that I simply cannot pinpoint. It is distinct in that sense, but very hard for me to know what to make out of it. Maybe it feels somehow like a top of the line Alfa Romeo car. It's not a Benz or a BMW but Lord knows the way it feel on the road is simply...original and unique. Will I try it again? I'm not sure. Maybe I will. A bit afraid of it to be honest since it feels too complex for me. As for you - if you are a proper cigar smoker and haven't tried it yet - please do and please do review it - I am curious. Another strong one from AJ. smoked it for about 90 minutes. Very well processed and it looks great too. There is not much point in talking about the wonderful way AJ process their cigars because they are tip top on this aspect. Box pressing is subtle comparing to the El Gobernador for example from the New World Order series, but still has the great draw of a nice box pressed stick. Flavour wise it is quite challenging to understand it right away because to me it feels pretty much complex. Plenty of smoke - creamy and even oily, but spicy and sweet at the same time. Rare mix. Some old hay can be felt wrapped in serious wood, soil and leather flavours, all bumped by the choco-coffee feel that accompanies each toke from start to finish. All in all it feels like those evenings of fine wine tasing. It just takes a while to get used to the more subtle ones. I will definitely have it again and if you hadn't yet- go ahead. Maybe not the best for beginners since it is a pretty punchy smoke. Price wise... I'd say okish considering the market today. If it was like 20% cheaper it would have been a real blast. Right on, AJ! 90 minutes of yummi, creamy, oily smoke. And for the price - it's a steal! Super well rolled, classic AJ aromas of wood, a bit of toasty coffee, some soil, leather and nuts. The interesting part is the fruity and dried flower hints and the dried grassy feel to it. Quite complex for a "simple" smoke in this price range. All in all it felt like a picnic. Easy-going, relaxing and fulfilling at the same time. I will absolutely try it again. A good competition to some of the Joyas. And if you haven't tried it yet- you should for sure.
